Award winning, luxury Bed and Breakfast in the Cotswolds
Uplands House is a luxury five star bed and breakfast overlooking a Cotswold area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of England. Near to Moreton-in-Marsh, Stratford-on-Avon, Chipping Campden, and Warwick Castle, it provides the perfect base for visiting many of the wonderful events and attractions in the local area.
Situated at the end of a long avenue of ancient lime trees and surrounded by the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, this charming family house built of golden Hornton stone is set within its own enchanting gardens and has stunning views over the shimmering greens of the home park, the planting of which was greatly influenced by historic English gardener, Capability Brown.
Your hosts, Poppy and Graham try to provide the very best in English country house hospitality. The watchwords here are a very warm welcome, friendliness, kindness, comfort, and jolly good food. The restorative magic of two or three days at Uplands works wonders! Guests normally arrive in time for for tea, served with irresistible home made cake, either by the fire in the Winter or on the terrace in Summer.
The en-suite bedrooms at Uplands are beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable, guaranteeing a thoroughly restful night's sleep. Guests are also invited to use the garden terrace and the drawing room, both are ideal places for relaxing. WiFi is available, but please bring your own laptops.

A proper Warwickshire breakfast is served in the mornings and includes, fresh grapefruit or orange juice from real fruit, squeezed by hand just before you drink it. Then you could have home made museli or fresh berries, from the garden in Summer, with yogurt, honey and toasted nuts. This can be followed by eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, and black pudding, and we can also provide cold meats, smoked salmon, kippers and kedgeree (which should be ordered in advance). Finally there is toast with a good selection of home made jams and marmalades, and of course, the coffee and tea of your choice.
Additionally, you may wish to really treat yourselves to the fine dining experience that awaits you at Uplands House. The majority of our visitors eat with us on their night of arrival. Our mouth watering organic dinners are available most nights for you to enjoy and we also have a surprisingly good wine list to choose from. Please see "Dining" for further information.
